If it’s something to be used without any visuals (whether static or in motion) for things such as podcasts and CDs, you should first contact the Harry Fox Agency for mechanical clearance, and then us for master rights clearance.
If you wish to use any of this material in conjunction with any visuals (whether static or in motion) and you have received clearance from all of the music publishers, then you will need to contact us directly with the following information in order to request master rights clearance:
- List of titles, and duration of each, to be used in the project, including partial clips and multiple usages.
- Final (or working) title of the project, as well as estimated length (duration) of the project.
- Methods and markets of distribution (festival, Internet, retail, mail order, etc.).
- Requested territory (countries) and term (in years).
- Estimated retail and wholesale pricing (if applicable).
- Complete contact info of contractual party, including name, address, phone number and email address.
Upon supplying this information, you will be contacted by email regarding a quote for the proposed master recording rights usage. In addition, a standard legal agreement with terms and conditions will be provided. No exploitation shall be permitted prior to the payment of any required fees, signature by both parties on an agreement, and clearance(s) obtained from any and all publisher(s) involved, if any.
